A companion at opposite polarity, named for what it does to Wealth — and, in its yang-Day-Master form, the same position the texts call the Blade.

Wealth fears the Rob; robbed, it is divided.
阳刃者，劫我正财之神，乃正财之七煞也。禄前一位，惟五阳有之，故为旭刃。不曰劫而曰刃，劫之甚也。
The Yang Blade is the spirit that robs my Direct Wealth — it is the Seven Killings of Direct Wealth. It stands one place ahead of the salary, and only the five yang stems have it; hence the Blade. It is called Blade rather than Rob because it is robbery at its extreme.
Like Parallel, this is a companion stem — same element as the Day Master. The difference is polarity, and the classical texts treat that difference as consequential enough to name the relation after its effect on something else: 劫财, robbing wealth.
不曰劫而曰刃，劫之甚也 — called Blade rather than Rob, because it is robbery at its extreme. 阳刃 is not a different star from 劫财; it is the same relation in a specific seat, the branch one place past the Day Master's own salary position, and it exists only for the five yang stems. Yin Day Masters have Rob Wealth without a Blade.
The most useful thing in the Zi Ping Zhen Quan chapter is that it reverses the usual advice and says why: 他格以煞能伤身，故喜制伏，忌财印；阳刃用之，则赖以制刃，不怕伤身，故反喜财印 — in other structures Killings injure the self so restraint is welcome and Wealth and Resource are avoided; where the Blade is in play, Killings are what hold the Blade down, so Wealth and Resource become welcome instead. Same stems, opposite reading, stated reason.
